Yoga for cancer patients

One breath at the time. One asana at the time.

Yoga is a major part of my recovery.

Every aspect of yoga has a role to play in the process of healing. Nurturing body movement, breathing exercises, meditation, relaxation, Yoga Nidra - all encourage the conditions in which physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health can flourish.

You are not too old, sick or weak to practice

Yoga has been a practice for overall wellness for thousands of years. It has widely been accepted in India that yoga has healing properties, but it wasn’t until fairly recently that western medical science has also supported yoga as a tool for support before, during, and after cancer treatment.

Anyone can start yoga and enjoy the benefits right away. It is important to also notice that when you are the weakest or the sickest, these are the days you need yoga the most. Each class is designed based on where you are at, how you feel and what you need. I am a certified yoga instructor and I will make sure that you are constantly doing the appropriate exercises with kindness.

The classes

I conduct individual and group on-demand classes. Since the content significantly differs from one patient to the next, I highly encourage the classes to be individual.

The classes can be online or in the comfort of your home, depending on your location. I am based in Vevey, Switzerland and can travel in the Riviera region.
